    Legal and Corporate Communications Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Legal and Corporate Communications Manager will oversee legal and communication functions within the organization; and be responsible for providing legal advice, managing corporate communications, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • This individual will also handle external liaison with both public and private entities on behalf of the company.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Draft and review legal documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, and contracts.
    • Monitor legal risks in real estate documentation and provide strategic advice to management.
    • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for real estate transactions.
    • Advise management on legal matters to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
    • Ensure the company's compliance with laws and regulations in construction and property management.
    • Conduct due diligence on land transactions and partners for compliance.
    • Manage land-related disputes and collaborate with outside counsel for resolution.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to enhance the company's brand and reputation.
    • Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, website content, and social media.
    • Oversee public relations, media relations, and crisis communications.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for marketing campaigns aligned with legal and communication objectives.
    • Create and distribute internal communications to keep employees informed.
    • Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports to senior management.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Minimum of 2-1 in a Bachelor’s degree in law or Law school.
    • Minimum of five years of relevant legal experience, including litigation.
    • Astute Legal Expertise with a good understanding of emerging trends in Real Estate.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and consultation skills.
    • Strategic thinking and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
    • Ability to lead and take ownership.

    Preferred

    • Experience in writing and editing.
    • Driven and intuitive.
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
