Leasing Officer at Medplus Ltd

Position Overview:

• You will play a vital role in expanding our presence while ensuring strategic utilization of retail spaces to enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement leasing strategies aligned with the company's goals and market trends to maximize occupancy rates and revenue.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential locations for new retail outlets or expansion.
• Actively seek out prospective property owners, landlords, and real estate agents to identify leasing opportunities and build a network within the industry.
• Negotiate leasing terms, rental rates, and other contractual terms to ensure favorable outcomes for the company 
• Liaise with the legal team to prepare leasing agreements, review legal documents, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including store design and operations, to optimize the layout and design of retail spaces and adhere to brand standards.
• Manage lease renewal negotiations and terminations, aiming to secure favorable terms for lease extensions or transitions to new locations.
• Prepare regular reports and updates on leasing activities, market trends, and occupancy rates for presentation to senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience in leasing or real estate within the retail or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of leasing principles, contract negotiation, and legal aspects related to leasing agreements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct financial assessments and interpret market data.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple leasing projects simultaneously.
