    Learning and Development Specialist

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing engaging instructional materials aligned with the British curriculum for various subjects. These materials will serve as essential resources for our educators and students, enhancing the teaching and learning experience within our school.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to identify learning objectives and content requirements for each subject area.
    • Design and develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and multimedia resources, tailored to the specific needs of our students.
    • Utilize a variety of instructional design methodologies and multimedia tools, including Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, to create interactive and engaging learning experiences.
    • Ensure that all instructional materials adhere to curriculum standards and educational best practices.
    • Incorporate diverse teaching strategies and learning modalities to accommodate the needs of different learners.
    • Conduct thorough research to stay informed about current trends and developments in education, curriculum design, and instructional technology.
    • Review and evaluate existing instructional materials, making necessary revisions and updates to improve effectiveness and relevance.
    • Provide training and support to educators on the effective use of instructional materials and teaching strategies.
    • Collaborate with other members of the learning and development team to share best practices, resources, and innovative ideas.
    • Maintain organized documentation and records related to instructional design projects and materials development.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, to create engaging and visually appealing instructional materials.
    • Strong knowledge of pedagogical principles, learning theories, and educational psychology.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
    • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in education.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
    • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and contribute ideas to a diverse team environment.
    • Experience working in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with assessment and evaluation techniques to measure the effectiveness of instructional materials and learning outcomes.
