    Lead, Marketing

    You will lead a lean team of customer support execs, content creators, and social media analysts, working cross-functionally with other internal stakeholders including senior management in product & engineering,  operations, partnerships, and community engagement whilst designing and implementing data-driven growth and content marketing initiatives. 

    What you will be doing

    • Develop and implement all marketing and communications strategies for AltSchool and its sister company TalentQL
    • Oversee the development and implementation of strategies for growth marketing campaigns, with a focus on content marketing, social media marketing, and paid advertising
    • Create brand marketing campaigns (in collaboration with relevant internal teams) aimed at increasing brand awareness and engaging with existing audiences
    • Promote the creation of programs or events to promote AltSchool’s product and service offerings
    • Maintain the brand integrity and strategically position the AltSchool brands as an industry leader in its category
    • Oversee the launch of new products, and services, and manage associated brands to meet profitability goals and targets.
    • Optimize AltSchool’s marketing for growth through customer loyalty and customer brand advocacy
    • Follow topical issues, industry trends, and the larger media ecosystem to create opportunities to share AltSchool’s corporate story
    • Support with crisis communications and brand reputation management
    • Handle international and national media inquiries, make presentations and appearances on behalf of the brands
    • Develop a unified approach to the company’s overall marketing efforts in collaboration with other teams, ensuring consistent brand voice across all initiatives
    • Leverage analytic tools for market research to find ways to enhance the company’s marketing efforts 
    • Compile performance reports to brief executive leadership on marketing initiatives and provide recommendations on improvement strategies

    Qualifications

    What we are looking for

    • 4+ years of marketing experience with core expertise in growth and performance marketing
    • Previous experience working with a marketing Agency or an FMCG brand is preferred 
    • Proven marketing leadership experience: with 2+ years of supervisory experience, leading a team 
    • Have a knack for process development & improvement
    • Proven marketing automation experience with the ability to develop data-driven and multichannel marketing strategies/methods such as A/B testing, email marketing, text (SMS) marketing, direct mail, social media, search engine optimization (SEO) 
    • Experience in planning and executing proactive branding and communications initiatives
    • Agile Marketing Operations: Comfortable in an agile operating environment where initiative is encouraged, and stakeholder consensus is required for success
    • Analytical: Ability to use various marketing analytics tools e.g Google Analytics
    • Growth hacker mentality: understanding growth hacking techniques
    • Storytelling: Ability to synthesize data (quantitative and qualitative) into a compelling story that resonates with your potential customers.
