    Lead HR Officer

    Tasks & Responsibilities:

    1. Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy such as the;
    2. Workforce Planning (Establishments)
    3. Disciplinary and Grievance Procedure
    4. Performance Management Systems
    5. Training and Development
    6. Talent Management Systems
    7. Succession Planning
    8. Recruitment, Selection and On-boarding
    9. Employee Engagement & Satisfaction
    10. Human Resource Development Plan
    11. Remuneration, Benefits & Rewards
    12. Identify HR implications of new business goals and objectives.
    13. Formulation, analysis and reporting of numerous HR Metrics.
    14. Achieve financial objectives of the department by
    15. anticipating requirements
    16. submitting information for budget preparation
    17. scheduling expenditures
    18. monitoring costs
    19. analysing variances.
    20. Ensure legal compliance and reduce the organisations risk exposure by keeping abreast of and implementing applicable statutory requirements such as adhering to labour laws and payment of Worker’s Compensation.
    21. Lead the HR Team.
    22. Ensure payroll is processed on time and accurately.
    23. Ensure all company immigration needs are processed and communicated in a timely and efficient manner.
    24. Effectively handle staff transitions and terminations
    25. Champion an organisational culture that aligns with organisations winning ambition.
    26. Manage Industrial and Employee Relations
    27. Advise leadership team on people issues.
    28. Routine Activities such as file maintenance, signing contracts and letters, and numerous meetings.
    29. Any other duties as may be directed by Management

    Special Requirements and Skill

    1. Knowledge of the FMCG industry, and understanding of the frozen food category.
    2. Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent social networking skills.
    3. Negotiation and persuasion skills.
    4. Planning and organizing skills.
    5. Efficiency in use of Microsoft applications and ERP.
    6. Excellent report writing.
    7. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
    8. Strong decision-making skills.
    9. Ability to work under pressure.
    10. Ability and willingness to travel.
    11. Be able to follow written procedures.
    12. Follow plant GMP, Health & Safety and Food Safety guideline.
    13. Ability to work quickly and safely to meet requirement.
    14. Strong problem-solving skill.
    15. Strong analytical skill

    Others

    • Years of Experience : Minimum 8 years of related experience including proven experience in meeting HR targets.
    • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree Industrial Relations, Personnel Management, International Relations, Business Administration or other relevant fields.
    • Remuneration: N300,000
