Lead Electrical Engineer at Seflam SGL Ltd

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design, installation, and project execution.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, design software, and industry codes.
• Experience managing engineering teams and supervising subcontractors.
• Proficiency in reviewing and approving electrical designs and AFC drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide engineering solutions on-site.
• Prepare reports, electrical designs, and technical drawings.
• Understand project work scope and ensure the design is fit for purpose.
• Provide technical advice and ensure appropriate material selection during design.
• Review and sign off on electrical designs prepared by the Engineering Services Contractor (ESC) as confirmation of design optimization.
• Manage the company's Electrical Engineering team, supervising designs by junior engineers and subcontractors.
• Endorse deviations from the design and update As-built For Construction (AFC) drawings accordingly.
• Mobilize to project sites to provide on-ground engineering support during construction and installation phases.
• Ensure strict adherence to installation procedures as per AFC drawings.
