Lead Biomedical Engineer at Benin Medical Care

• Supervise the installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of all biomedical and diagnostic equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all hospital equipment.
• Ensure prompt troubleshooting and resolution of equipment faults to minimize operational downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
• Coordinate equipment upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning processes

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification or license in Biomedical Engineering or a Masters degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5–7 years relevant experience in biomedical engineering within a healthcare environment.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in the use of biomedical testing and calibration tools.
• Good understanding of healthcare safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
