Large Format Operator at Satelite Group

We are looking for an experienced Digital Large Format Print operator to join our team in the Asaba branch. The operator will be responsible for the day-to-day print production and maintenance of the printers. You will be responsible for preparing, printing and assembling signage and wide-format graphics within a busy print environment. Duties include setting files to print and producing and finishing printed materials.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Layout and preparation of files ready to print.
• Operation of wide format print types of equipment.
• Finishing and assembly of printed materials.
• Performing daily operator maintenance on print and finishing equipment.
• Monitor printer efficiencies & speed to ensure production levels meet or exceed standards & make appropriate adjustments.
• Ensure deadlines are maintained and company objectives are met.
• Observe machines in operation and make adjustments as needed.
• Identify workable production solutions when troubleshooting.
• Maintain a high level of safety, cleanliness and organisation within the workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of NAINTOP software and experience in checking and preparing customer files for print. 
• Knowledge of large format printers, roll laminators and digital cutters.
• A flexible attitude and ability to work across multiple projects while maintaining the highest quality output.
• Strong attention to detail along with a sharp focus on quality.
• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
• Hardworking, assertive, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top-quality products.

• Must reside in Asaba.
