We are seeking experienced Laravel Full-Stack Engineers to join our Software Development Unit. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, QA, and other developers to build and maintain our suite of web applications and platforms that serve students, staff, and administrators.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack Laravel-based web applications.
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP (Laravel) backend code.
Build interactive, responsive front-end components using Vue.js, React, AlpineJS or Blade.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Participate in software architecture discussions and code reviews.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement frontend features with precision.
Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
Maintain version control using Git.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.
Contribute to planning, estimation, and development sprints using Agile methodology.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of full-stack development experience with Laravel.
Experience with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Experience with in-memory data stores such as Memcached and Redis.
Experience with different caching mechanisms.
Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or AlpineJS.
Proficiency in CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, TailwindCSS, etc.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
Proficient with version control tools, especially Git.
Familiarity with modern development tools and DevOps pipelines.
Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with different caching mechanisms (e.g., database query caching, HTTP caching, object caching)
Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and writing automated tests.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean..
Previous work with educational platforms, LMS, or EdTech tools.
Understanding of accessibility and security best practices.
Experience working in fast-paced environments.
