We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our operations team.
This individual will be responsible for executing laboratory processes, maintaining compliance, supporting quality control activities, and ensuring all technical procedures are performed with precision and consistency.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, disciplined, and has strong aptitude for following structured SOPs, handling materials safely, and documenting work accurately. This position is well-suited for candidates with technical curiosity, strong process-thinking skills, and a desire to build expertise in a fast-growing production and laboratory environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
Execute laboratory and material-processing procedures including washing, prepping, texturizing, steaming, coloring, neutralizing, conditioning, drying, and quality testing of hair bundles.
Follow established SOPs precisely for all chemical treatments, timing cycles, equipment use, and hygiene standards to ensure consistent hair quality across batches.
Prepare chemical mixtures, baths, and solutions using accurate measurements, ensuring correct ratios, temperatures, and processing durations.
Maintain strict contamination control by keeping workstations clean, sterilized, and properly organized at all times.
Conduct detailed quality checks on hair texture, pattern uniformity, softness, color accuracy, tensile strength, and overall finish before passing products to the next stage.
Operate lab and production equipment such as steamers, dryers, hot water baths, digital scales, mixers, heating tools, and conditioning machines.
Support inventory management by tracking usage of chemicals, consumables, tools, and ensuring supply levels are always adequate.
Collaborate daily with all teams to ensure a smooth production flow.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance consistency, reduce processing errors, and increase overall production efficiency.
Uphold all safety, hygiene, and compliance rules on the factory floor, ensuring your team follows them without exceptions.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in a laboratory, production facility, or quality-control environment is an advantage.
Strong understanding of measurement accuracy, chemical handling, and controlled processes.
Familiarity with SOP-driven environments and documentation requirements.
Demonstrated ability to follow structured steps, maintain cleanliness, and manage repetitive tasks with consistency.
Basic proficiency in Google Spreadsheets/Excel.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in team-based operations.
