Role Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Laboratory Scientist to join our dedicated team.
• You will play a vital role in performing diagnostic tests, supporting patient care, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of laboratory procedures for our inpatient and outreach programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hematological, biochemical, microbiological, and molecular tests, especially for sickle cell disease, malaria, and pediatric conditions.
• Maintain proper documentation and quality assurance protocols.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain lab equipment efficiently.
• Support the medical team with timely and accurate test results.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or equivalent.
• Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital lab.
• Experience with hematology testing and pediatric samples is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and compassion for children.
