    About the role

This is a fixed term position ending 31st March 2023. We are advertising this as a full-term position but are open to offering the role on a part-time basis. The role is designed to support the Programme Policy, Research and Learning (PPRL) team to map Christian Aid’s existing evidence and develop an evidence repository in relation to its five justice areas: Climate Justice, Economic Justice, From Violence to Peace, Gender Justice and Social and Political Justice. The purpose of this is to provide a detailed evidence picture on which our research and learning plans and resourcing decisions can be based. As Christian Aid works in different languages the role requires fluency in English and either Spanish or French.

    About you

You will also be passionate about managing knowledge in order to make it more accessible and able to influence development practice and policy.

Equally important will be your interpersonal skills. You will be able to build strong relationships and work across different departments and contexts in a way that is flexible but able to meet deadlines. You will have a good appreciation of the diversity of cultures, workstyles and perspectives that exist. You will also understand the role of culture and context in research, evidence and learning and be aligned with REL's commitment to epistemic justice.
