Kitchen Supervisor at FoliXx Hospitality

Responsibilities

• Supervise Kitchen Operations: Manage daily kitchen activities including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning while ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
• Work closely with chefs/cooksto design visually appealing food presentations that enhance the dining experience.
• Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth kitchen flow and that all team members follow proper protocols for food preparation and presentation.
• Collaborate with the chef and management to develop new menu and analyze menu performance and suggest improvements.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring that kitchen supplies are wellstocked and ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
• Ensure the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Assist in managing kitchen budgets, controlling waste, and maximizing the efficient use of ingredients.Monitor labour and food costs, optimizing efficiency.
• Hygiene and Safety: Maintain strict hygiene standards and conduct regular kitchen inspections.
• Team Management: Train, motivate, and foster teamwork and ensure and that all team members follow proper protocols for food preparation.
