Kitchen Assistant at LADUX Salon and Spa

Job Description

• We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support the daily operations of our kitchen.
• The ideal candidate will assist chefs and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth workflow in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items
• Dispose of waste and manage kitchen hygiene according to health and safety standards
• Support chefs and cooks during meal service
• Refill supplies and restock ingredients as needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent
• Certification in food safety or hygiene is an added advantage
• 0 – 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
• On-the-job training will be provided for entry-level candidates

• Must be punctual, dependable, and well-mannered
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Must maintain a neat and hygienic appearance
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen setting.

Remuneration

• Competitive Salary: N50,000 / month based on experience
• Meals during shifts (if applicable)
