    Key Account Manager (Auto/Fleet Insurance)

    • As the Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in nurturing existing relationships and driving new business opportunities.
    • Your in-depth knowledge of the auto and fleet insurance industry, as well as your ability to analyze market trends, will allow you to proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them for our clients. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of insurance policies and exceptional customer service.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute an enterprise sales strategy that meets or exceeds revenue targets.
    • Prospect for new business opportunities by building relationships with decision-makers at target accounts.
    • Develop and manage complex sales strategies, including forecasting potential revenue streams.
    • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and develop long-term relationships with clients in the auto and fleet insurance sector.
    • Understand client needs and provide insurance solutions that align with their business goals.
    • Regularly engage with clients to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
    • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging risks.
    • Analyze client data to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and claims, to ensure seamless policy execution and exceptional customer service.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients that effectively showcase the value of our insurance products and services.
    • Upsell and cross-sell new products/services to existing clients in order to increase ETAP’s revenue.
    • Identify potential customers and develop new business opportunities through networking and referrals from existing customers.
    • Manage the entire sales cycle from start to finish, including but not limited to: prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing
    • Build relationships with current clients in order to increase sales through repeat business from existing customers.
    • Develop plans to increase revenue within existing markets while identifying new markets that could provide future growth opportunities.
    • Establish pricing structures for products or services to ensure profitability.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports detailing pipeline progress and forecasted revenue.
    • Periodically analyze sales opportunities, quotes, and orders by key parameters such as hit rates, market segments, offerings, and lead sources. Draw conclusions and recommend actions for improving sales processes
    • Track and update sales and marketing activities and deals using the assigned CRM.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management within the auto or fleet insurance industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong knowledge of auto and fleet insurance products, as well as industry regulations.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
    • Analytical mindset and ability to analyze market trends and client data.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Insurance broker license or relevant certifications is preferred.
