Kastle System Support Engineer at Software Business Solutions Consulting

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kastle Developer to support, enhance, and customize the Kastle Core Banking platform.
• The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with the bank’s digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain modules on the Kastle Core Banking.
• Work with Business Analysts to translate requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Develop integrations between Kastle and internal/external systems (via REST/SOAP APIs, ISO 8583, flat files, etc.).
• Develop and optimize stored procedures, reports, and batch jobs on the Kastle DB (typically Oracle/SQL Server).
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and defects within SLA.
• Participate in upgrades, patching, testing, and implementation of Kastle version releases.
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal IT and support teams.
• Ensure all development complies with change management, security, and regulatory standards.
• Document all customizations, system workflows, and configuration changes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in enterprise banking software development.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with Kastle Core Banking
• Proficient in:
• PL/SQL, Oracle or MS SQL Server
• Java, .Net or other middleware scripting tools used in Kastle integration
• Banking file formats like NIBSS/NAPS/NEFT/RTGS/ISO 20022/ISO 8583
• Kastle-related frameworks (e.g., Product Factory, Lending modules, CASA, GL, Treasury)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, source control (e.g., Git), and deployment processes.
• Working knowledge of banking operations and compliance frameworks.
