Junior UI / UX Designer at Foteino Talento

Role Summary

• The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into delightful experiences. The designer will create both functional and visually appealing features that address our customers' needs.
• The ideal candidate is one who is creative and has an eye for design – along with the technical knowledge to develop great experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
• Testing Ul elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
• Develop Ul mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g.responsiveness).
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
• Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behaviour.
• Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.

Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Computer Science or related field
• 1-2 years experience as a UI UX designer
• Strong knowledge of industry tools e.g. Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Figma, and Illustrator.
• Proficiency in creating user stories, personas, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, assets, icons, mockups and storyboards.
• Ability to plan and conduct user testing, surveys and formal evaluations.

Skills:

• Visual design: Proficiency in colour, typography, layout, and design software.
• User-centred design: Understanding user needs and conducting research.
• Wireframing and prototyping: Creating low-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.
• Interaction design: Designing intuitive and engaging user interactions.
• Information architecture: Organizing content and navigation systems.
• Usability testing: Conduct basic user tests to gather feedback.
• Responsive design: Designing for different screen sizes and devices.
• Collaboration and communication: Working effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Attention to detail: Creating pixel-perfect designs.
