• This role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the inner workings of a modern marketing department, preparing the Junior Marketing Associate to become a versatile and indispensable asset to our team and eliminating key-man risk.

Responsibilities

• The Junior Marketing Associate will primarily understudy the Chief of Staff - Marketing, gaining in-depth knowledge and practical experience in the following areas:
  • Influencer Marketing Support:
  • Assist with identifying, researching, and vetting potential influencers.
  • Support outreach efforts and communication with influencers.
  • Help track and analyze campaign performance.
  • Organize and maintain influencer databases.
  • Content Marketing Assistance:
  • Assist in content research, ideation, and planning.
  • Support the creation and editing of various content formats (e.g., blog posts, website copy, emails).
  • Help with content distribution and promotion across different channels.
  • Assist in maintaining content calendars.
  • Product Marketing Learning:
  • Learn about product positioning, messaging, and competitive analysis.
  • Support the development of marketing materials for product launches and updates.
  • Assist with gathering customer feedback and market insights.
  • Lifecycle Marketing Contributions:
  • Understand customer journeys and lifecycle stages.
  • Assist in developing and optimizing email marketing campaigns and automated workflows.
  • Help with segmentation and personalization efforts.

Beyond the primary focus with the Marketing Generalist, the Junior Marketing Associate will also gain exposure and provide support to other team members, including:

• Social Media Support:
• Assist the Social Media Manager with content scheduling and community engagement.
• Learn about social media analytics and reporting.
• Support the Social Content Creator in brainstorming and developing ideas for engaging social media content.
• Paid Acquisition Exposure:
• Gain an understanding of paid advertising platforms and strategies.
• Assist the Paid Acquisition Business Partner with campaign monitoring and basic reporting.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Learn how to facilitate communication and project coordination between different marketing functions (social media, paid acquisition, content, etc.).
• Assist in organizing team meetings and tracking project progress.

Requirements

• You should have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
• You should have a strong interest in all aspects of marketing and a desire for a broad learning experience.
• You must have extremely high internal drive, with a desire to win, a desire to see your team win big, and a desire to change the world.
• You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• You are proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take initiative.
• You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• You should be proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends is a plus.
