    Junior Commercial Analyst

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Commercial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting commercial operations by analyzing financial and market data, assisting procurement activities, monitoring product pricing trends, and providing performance insights.

    Key Responsibilities
    Procurement Support & Cost Analysis:

    • Assist in sourcing products and services in line with company procurement policies.
    • Support vendor evaluation, price comparisons, and negotiation processes.
    • Track procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

    Financial Analysis & Reporting:

    • Analyze sales, costs, margins, and profitability across products and locations.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly financial and commercial reports.
    • Support budgeting and cost tracking activities.

    Price Trend Monitoring:

    • Monitor local and international price movements on crude, LPG, PMS.
    • Track supplier pricing and market fluctuations.
    • Provide updates and insights to guide pricing and purchasing decisions.

    Forecasting & Demand Planning:

    • Support demand forecasting based on historical sales data and market trends.
    • Assist in planning product supply to meet operational needs.
    • Identify potential supply gaps or excess inventory risks.

    Stakeholder Coordination:

    • Work closely with procurement, operations, finance, and sales teams.
    • Support communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.
    • Coordinate and monitor logistics until final delivery at retail outlets to ensure maintenance of healthy stock levels.
    • Timely and clear communication of any distortions with proper mitigation efforts.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • No prior work experience required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Strong numerical and analytical thinking ability.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Basic stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
