Junior Accounts Officer at Sunrose Consulting

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain account books and prepare financial statements and operating reports
• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
• Petty cash management
• Stock taking and bank reconciliation
• Maintain and track daily, weekly and monthly inventory and expenses
• Ensure accuracy of inventory reports, lead physical inventory counts and diagnose the cause of inventory variance.
• Prepare and make bank deposits
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Assist with internal audits
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk or Junior Officer
• A least OND in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Ability to commute to job location is important
