Junior Accountant at Workforce Group

Job Summary

• The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, procurement documentation, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
• The role requires strong attention to detail, sound accounting fundamentals, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while supporting audits and reporting processes.

Core Responsibilities

• Record and process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Support accounts payable and supplier reconciliations
• Assist with bank reconciliations and monthly financial reports
• Maintain accurate procurement and financial documentation
• Support audits, budget tracking, and expense monitoring.

Qualifications

• BSc / HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2 - 4 years’ experience in accounting, procurement, or related roles
• Basic accounting knowledge (AP, reconciliations, documentation)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Odoo)
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
