As the Junior Accountant, you will support the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting entries, and assisting with reporting, reconciliation, audit, and statutory compliance activities using accounting software.
Responsibilities
Post daily financial transactions, maintain journals, ledgers, and bookkeeping records using accounting software
Perform bank, cash, vendor reconciliations, and manage accounts payable and receivable
Support preparation of monthly management reports, budgets, and financial schedules
Assist with audits, tax computations, statutory filings, and proper documentation of financial records.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
0 - 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Zoho) and Microsoft Excel
Basic understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and audit processes.
