You will be responsible for posting journal entries, preparing financial statements, maintaining accounts, receivables, or payables and administering monthly payroll for employees.
Responsibilities
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Requirements
HND / B.Sc in Accounting or any related field.
2-3 years of related work experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Being a chartered accountant is an added advantage.
Candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry and factory will be an added advantage
