Junior Accountant at Maurice Xandra Solutions

Job Summary:
Our Client, a major player in the Agro-allied Industry is looking to hire a Junior Accountant, who will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, reporting day-to-day activities and helping the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way, the company can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.

Location:  Sango - Ota, Ogun State

Responsibilities:

• Updating account receivable and issue invoices.
• Act as backup accounts payable
• Responsible for reconciling ledgers monthly and quarterly
• Familiar with various subsidiary books of account
• Responsible for generating reports of financial status information.
• Budget and budgetary control

Requirements:

• Ability to carry out manual duties
• Experience in poultry breeding and other poultry workmanship
• Knowledge of environmental management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Candidate must have 2 years and above experience in a large sized accounting firm
• Proficiency with a computer knowledge generally
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and various accounting software programs
• Candidate must have a keen attention to details
• Candidate must be an excellent problem solver
• Candidate must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to carry out any other responsibilities or assignments given by the Senior Accountant.
