Junior Accountant - Delta at Pause Factory

Our Client in the construction Industry is seeking a Junior Accountant to assist in the preparation of financial statements, maintenance of accounting records, and performance of various accounting tasks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the accounting team and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Role Responsibilities;

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
3. Perform various accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports.
5. Provide support to the accounting team in ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Job Specification;

1. Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or a related field
2. 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry
3. Professional certification (e.g. ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
