Junior Accountant at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations within our agribusiness and supply chain organization.
• The ideal candidate will assist with financial record keeping, reconciliations, reporting, and general accounting activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial records and reports
• Maintain accurate accounting entries and documentation
• Support bank reconciliations and expense tracking
• Process invoices, payments, and petty cash records
• Assist with inventory and stock accounting activities
• Support monthly and yearly financial closing processes
• Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years accounting experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and analytical abilities.
