Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced journalist with high level editorial competence (with automotive background such as cars, trucks, bikes, campers and related) to research and write, for our online publishing team, highest quality contents to be published on global media, like MSN.Com. Ability to publish to wordpress is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Daily writing of slideshows for MSN.COM of highest editorial quality, as fit for such global media outlet,
• Ability to create and write MSN Slide Shows that brings in massive readers engagement,
• Writing automotive content from various angles such as trending topics, interviews, futuristic, like a mechanic, like a customer, independent researcher etc.,
• Study existing publication with high engagement (pageviews and comments) and replicate with better improvement,
• Create new but 100% fresh contents from popular users-generated contents such as from QUORA

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a top Journalist, with automotive flair (cars, trucks, plane, bikes and related niches such as motoring, camping),
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills that match top global levels on USA based publications such as MSN, Yahoo News, CNN, etc.,
• Write with facts, ensure that all dates, names, statistics, and facts are correct,
• Ability to generate mind-grabbing headlines and body copy,
• Professional portfolio that highlights previously written work,
• Knowledge of working an publishing with wordpress,
• Social profiles and brand on media such as MuckRack, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin is an added advantage

Location: Specifically Rivers State. However, candidates based in nearby states of Abia and Imo States who may be physically available when asked to, can be considered.

REMOTE: This is a semi-remote work, to meet and work online with occasional physical meetup.
