Job Description

• The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
• This role ensures the efficient operation, performance, and security of IT systems while providing technical support to users.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various platforms.
• Implement and maintain system security policies, firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup solutions.
• Ensure regular updates and patching of all systems to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical support to staff, including hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Maintain and update documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT support and procurement.
• Plan and support IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of system security, backup/recovery procedures, and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency with Windows/Linux server environments, virtual machines (VMware/Hyper-V), and Active Directory.
• Experience with network administration (LAN, WAN, VPN) and firewall configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
