Position Overview

• This role combines IT support, software development, and website management responsibilities.
• The successful candidate will ensure seamless IT operations, provide technical support, and manage the university’s digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to staff and students.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software.
• Develop, maintain, and update the university website and web applications.
• Manage hosting accounts, domains, and email systems.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection compliance.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Develop internal software tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery systems.
• Provide IT training and support documentation for staff.

Requirements & Competencies

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, or similar).
• Experience in database management (MySQL or equivalent).
• Familiarity with network administration and cybersecurity practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
