IT Specialist at Sydani Group

Job description 

The IT Specialist will support the Team Lead to run the operations of the IT unit. The responsibilities of the IT Specialist will include but not be limited to systems design and administration, Voice over IP administration, network engineering, second-level IT support, and systems security. 

Responsibilities: Specific duties include 

• Support the development of new solutions  
• Design, install, configure, monitor, and maintain/repair/troubleshoot IT systems such as Networking equipment, access control, sound equipment etc. 
• ERP management
• Test, evaluate, and make decisions about new technologies for Sydani 
• Participate in problem-solving sessions to provide fresh, technical perspectives to ongoing projects/workstreams  

Required competencies: 

• Experience providing IT support 
• Database management using java, mysql
• ERP module design implementation and management
• Expertise with Microsoft Windows, Office, and Linux servers 
• CCNA-level network engineering skills 
• Willingness to problem-solve issues and see tasks through to completion 
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment 

Required Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s degree (First- or second-class upper) from a recognized university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other IT-related degrees. 
• Minimum Two (4) years of experience in a technical support role 
• IT certifications in network engineering, Microsoft 365, or Linux administration
