Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Officer with extensive website knowledge to join our organization. As an IT Officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems. Additionally, your expertise in website development and maintenance will be crucial in enhancing our online presence and ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, providing timely technical support to end users.
3. Install, configure, and update software applications, ensuring compatibility and security.
4. Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to optimize IT operations.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop website features, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing interface.
6. Develop, update, and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
7. Conduct regular website maintenance tasks, including content updates, bug fixes, and security patches.
8. Optimize website performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
9. Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
10. Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT and web development.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role, with a focus on website development and management.
3. Proficiency in web development languages and frameworks, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
4. Strong knowledge of networking concepts, systems administration, and troubleshooting.
5. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website analytics tools.
6. Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in web development and IT systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in web development or related areas.
2. Experience with e-commerce platforms and online payment gateways.
3. Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
4. Familiarity with web hosting and domain management.
5. Only candidates with sound, good and experienced in website management/IT support will be considered.
6. Candidate must reside on the Island (Lekki, Ikota, Ikate, Ajah and Sangotedo axis will be considered.)
