As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all systems and networks.
This role requires a strong understanding of computer systems, networking, software applications, and cybersecurity best practices.
You will provide technical support staff, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to IT projects.
Key Responsibilities
Installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Implementing and maintaining network security measures and managing user accounts and access permissions.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.).
Providing technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
Managing and maintaining servers and related infrastructure, performing system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshooting software and hardware problems, and installing and configuring software applications.
Managing software licenses and updates, and recommending and procuring hardware and software as needed.
Implementing and maintaining security protocols and measures to protect company data.
Monitoring systems for security breaches and intrusions.
Conducting security awareness training for employees and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation for systems, applications, and procedures.
Participating in IT projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation.
Collaborating with other teams to ensure project success.
Documenting troubleshooting steps and solutions, and developing user manuals and training materials.
Liaising with IT vendors for support, maintenance, and procurement, and assisting in evaluating vendor proposals and managing vendor contracts.
Staying current with IT trends and best practices, and continuously improving skills through self-learning, training, and professional development.

Requirements
BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
Minimum of 2–5 years in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure role.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, CCNA, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
Background in aviation, aerospace, defense, oil and gas, or similar industries is a plus.
Candidates with strong practical experience but non-traditional qualifications will also be considered.
