Summary

Candidate is responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure and services at a specific location or site. This role involves a wide range of tasks, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing local network configurations, ensuring data security, and providing end-user support

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the site\'s IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and end-user computing devices, to ensure high availability and performance.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, system backups, and disaster recovery operations to safeguard data and ensure the continuity of IT services.
• Monitor IT service performance against agreed service levels and performance metrics. Identify and implement improvements to meet or exceed these standards.
• Collaborate with central IT teams to align site-specific IT services with overall organizational IT service management practices.
• Provide first-line response for IT incidents and service requests, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate specialist teams, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on business operations.
• Participate in problem management processes to address and resolve the root causes of recurring incidents.
• Implement changes to IT systems and configurations in accordance with organizational change management procedures to minimize risk to service availability.
• Document changes and maintain accurate records of system configurations and modifications.
• · Maintain security measures to protect data and IT assets at the site, in line with organizational security policies and standards.
• Conduct regular security checks and participate in security audits to ensure compliance with internal and external security

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role, with a proven track record of maintaining and troubleshooting IT infrastructure.
•  Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting end-user computing devices (PCs, laptops, mobile devices), including hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and firewall settings. Hands-on experience in implementing and managing IT security measures, such as antivirus software, patch management, and access controls. Proven ability to provide technical support and training to end-users, effectively communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
