IT Service & Application Manager at Pack'N'Pay

Job Responsibilities

• Design, acquire, deploy, and manage a reliable, secure, and high-performing ERP application to support business functions and guarantee optimal services to customers.
• Assess ERP needs based on infrastructure, business solutions, capacity planning, testing, and performance levels.
• Work with the Governance, Planning, and EA Unit to develop and maintain the ERP application blueprint. Support core IT and end-user operations in a high-throughput production environment.
• Monitor and improve service levels of solutions and ERP platform within the agreed SLA structure. Ensure secure operations of channels and application portfolio.
• Deploy internally developed applications and core banking patches/releases within defined SLAs. Handle special projects and oversight functions as assigned by the Head of Business/COO.
• Lead and develop team members, ensuring a productive and positive work environment. Mentor and coach team members for skill growth and career development.

Academic Qualifications

• First Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or relevant field
• Advanced degree and relevant industry certifications are an advantage

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years professional ICT Experience with a minimum of 2years in a senior IT Management role gained in mature technology environment.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows Server/XP/Vista, and Open systems, ERP system technical and functional knowledge
• E-channel technologies
