We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven individual to join our team as IT Manager at our Head Office in Ibadan, Oyo State. As a middle-level manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology Unit, ensuring the smooth functioning of the company’s IT systems, providing strategic support for digital initiatives, and leading a team of IT professionals in line with the company’s goals and objectives
Job Description
Plan, manage, and oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of IT staff to ensure timely support and service delivery.
Ensure the security of IT systems through effective cybersecurity measures, data protection protocols, and backup processes.
Support the company’s digital transformation initiatives, including e-commerce and ERP platforms.
Collaborate with various departments to understand IT needs and provide effective technical solutions.
Oversee IT procurement and liaise with vendors, service providers, and external consultants.
Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency.
Prepare reports on system efficiency, IT performance, and project status for senior management.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualification & Required Skills
A relevant first degree (BSc. /HND) in Computer Science / Information Technology with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division / Lower Credit.
Minimum of 5–10 years relevant experience in a similar position
Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) or related are an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
Experience managing or supporting ERP systems and digital platforms (including e-commerce).
Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a focus on service delivery and innovation.
Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team in a dynamic environment
