IT Manager at Fadac Resources

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

As an IT Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day support of all IT systems, business systems, office systems, computer networks, telephony systems and social media activities throughout the hotel / resort.

Additionally responsible for Information Technology issues, products, and services at the property. Provides user training and support of all property/site systems, network enhancements, hardware and software support. Also maintains inventory of all hardware products and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements.

TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MANAGE AND COORDINATE OPERATIONS TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF SERVICE

• Manage information technology and computer systems
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Procurement of equipment in accordance with due competitive procurement processes which includes but is not limited to the following.
• Obtaining multiple invoices (minimum of 3) for each procurement process
• Development internal price benchmark for each equipment based on historical procurement cost and application of relevant coat escalation factors
• Carrying out cost normalization for the various vendors and subsequent cozy comparison to provide Management with the least cost option
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structure
• Ensures cleanliness of all data equipment and computer rooms.
• He must be a self-starter, alert, energetic, responsible and flexible.
• Responsible for smooth functioning and co-ordination of vendors for Guest Internet, Property Management Systems - PMS, Point of Sale - POS, IPTV, Telephony systems and other software vendors.
• Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
• Grows and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
• Keeping track of data and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns
• Responsible for overseeing and handling network configuration, Servers, Workstations, Networking equipment, PABX, email accounts, and also support for the underlying server/desktop infrastructure.
• Able to make good use of Home Automated System devices.
• Work with the Graphic designers on best promotional designs.
