IT Business Analyst at Matrix Energy Group

This role will enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability by aligning business processes and IT systems with strategic objectives. This role involves identifying business needs, analyzing data, facilitating communication between stakeholders and IT, supporting solution implementation, and standardizing process documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into IT requirements.
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders to define project and software objectives and scope.
• Ensure IT solutions align with business goals, requirements and add value to the business.
• Collect and analyze solution requirements from different user departments.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements for IT projects using standard methodologies.
• Support the development of detailed business process models, and workflows.
• Support IT project implementation by coordinating between users’ departments and IT teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Track progress and ensure projects are completed within scope, time, and budget.
• Actively support the IT teams during software development and system implementation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure IT solutions meet business needs.
• Provide feedback to the team on system functionalities and usability.
• Analyze business data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Support the development of intelligent dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize IT investments and business strategies.
• Act as a liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Head of IT.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Knowledge of managing and supporting ERP solutions.
• Expert proficiency in the development of intelligent dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Sound knowledge of the IT industry and offerings/innovations, with relevant applications and synergies to the Oil & Gas industry.
• Well-developed people management skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good presentation and facilitation skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
