Role Summary:

As an Investment Analyst at our client's company, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, market research, and due diligence on real estate investment opportunities. You will play a key role in evaluating potential investments, developing investment strategies, and providing insights and recommendations to support informed investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities, including property acquisitions, development projects, and asset management initiatives.
• Perform market research and analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and risks, and assess the competitive landscape and demand drivers in target markets.
• Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and presentations to communicate investment opportunities to senior management, investors, and stakeholders, and present findings and recommendations in meetings and discussions.
• Assist in due diligence processes for real estate acquisitions, including financial analysis, property inspections, market studies, and legal and regulatory reviews, and identify risks and opportunities associated with potential investments.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and advisors to evaluate investment opportunities, negotiate terms and agreements, and execute investment transactions in accordance with company objectives and investment criteria.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing real estate investments, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports and updates for management and investors on investment performance, financial metrics, and market trends.
• Stay abreast of changes in the real estate market, industry trends, and economic conditions, and provide insights and recommendations to support investment decision-making and portfolio management strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or related field; Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment analysis, financial modeling, or real estate finance, preferably in Nigeria or the West African region.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to perform complex financial analysis, evaluate investment opportunities, and interpret financial data and metrics.
• Proficiency in financial modeling software and tools, including Excel, Argus, and Bloomberg, and familiarity with real estate valuation methods and investment analysis techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and investment strategies clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of real estate market dynamics, investment principles, and regulatory requirements, and familiarity with industry best practices and standards.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
