Investigation Officer at Halogen Group

Principal Duties / Responsibilities:

• Collect, assemble, preserve facts, and prepare detailed reports of investigative findings for scrutiny and review by the Head, Compliance
• Create and utilize database for entering, updating, and tracking investigations
• Support the legal associate in providing detailed information on outcome of investigations by providing context and investigation report
• Keep up to date with industry standards and developments and apply regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures to investigations
• Support the Legal Associate and Head, Compliance in review and subsequent recommendation on all infractions and security breaches in assigned region
• Conduct interviews and collect evidence in accordance with Halogen’s defined procedures, record and report the results of these investigations
• Respond to incidents of crime reported/possible internal issues, coordinate investigations and provide support to Halogen, her clients and their employees
• Identify the weakness of current control and investigation processes and recommend enhancements
• Investigate incidents in a timely manner, prepare the critical incident report and investigation summary and provide same to the Head, Compliance
• Follow up on incidents by maintaining contact with colleagues and agencies where necessary to ensure completion of investigations
• Ensures conformance to QMS ISO9001:2015

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable tertiary institution

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
