Inverter Technician at JMG

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for an Inverter Technician, based in Kano. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing inverters, installing and maintaining inverter systems, conducting scheduled inspections, supporting troubleshooting processes, and ensuring systems meet safety and operational standards. Team collaboration and adherence to company quality and safety guidelines are integral to the role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Repair of inverter and battery which is returned from customer
• would be responsible to repair customer's inverter at service center as well as on site if required
• To provide information of parts used for inverter repairs
• To provide information on battery/inverter fault
• To ensure to fix the complains in stipulated time
• To take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the workplace, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum OND Electrical Engineering, BE. Electrical, Mechanical, Electro - Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical will be a plus,
• Min 5-8 years of experience in the UPS/inverter field in a leading industrial company with a strong experience in low/high voltage, UPS, inverter.
