    Inventory/Storekeeper

    • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, incoming supplies, and outgoing items.
    • Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations to prevent shortages or excesses.
    • Update inventory records in the system to ensure data accuracy.
    • Ensure proper labeling and tracking of all stock items
    • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices.
    • Store perishable and non-perishable items according to food safety standards.
    • Organize stockrooms and storage areas for easy access and efficiency.
    • Monitor expiration dates and implement FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management.
    • Work closely with kitchen staff to understand stock needs and prevent shortages.
    • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
    • Report low stock levels and request restocking when necessary.
    • Handle returns, damaged goods, or supplier discrepancies professionally.
    • Ensure all food items are stored under hygienic conditions and per regulatory standards.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
    • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and spoilage.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies on stock handling and record-keeping.
    • Maintain and update stock reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
    • Document stock usage trends and suggest improvements for cost control.
    • Prepare reports for management on inventory status and order requirements.
    • Assist in conducting periodic audits to verify stock accuracy.
