Inventory Officer at Capsgain Solutions

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing our stocks and ensuring that all delivery agents remit funds to our account when due.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and update stocks on a daily basis
• Ensure that all delivery agents are properly reporting their stock and reporting any discrepancies
• Ensure timely and accurate remittance of funds from delivery agents
• Conduct regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy and work with warehouse teams to resolve any discrepancies
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that all stock is properly stored and accounted for
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to forecast inventory needs and plan for new shipments
• Develop and maintain inventory management procedures to ensure accurate and efficient stock management
• Assist with the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and provide recommendations to prevent future discrepancies

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience in inventory management or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software..
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be a detail-oriented individual.
