This is a full-time on-site role for an Inventory Accountant, located in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Inventory Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, performing stock management duties, and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
Day-to-day tasks include processing journal entries, performing regular stock audits, reconciling inventory variances, and collaborating with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
The role also involves analyzing inventory trends and assisting in financial reporting.
Qualifications
Stock Management and Journal Entries (Accounting) skills
Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Accounting
Experience in Finance
Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work on-site in Lekki
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification such as ACA or ACCA is a plus
Experience in the consumer goods industry is desirable
