Internal Control Officer at Emerald Food & Beverages Company Ltd

• As an Internal Control & Audit Officer, you will assess the design and implementation of internal controls, conduct audits and reviews, and provide recommendations to the supervisor for enhancing control environments and minimizing risks.
• Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders, identifying control deficiencies, and promoting a culture of accountability and integrity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• HND/Bachelors degree in Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Internal
• Control and Audit, preferably in FMCG.
• Proficient in Accounting software and the
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Tally ERP is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and monitor daily transactions and operational processes for compliance.
• Conduct internal audits of operational and financial (e.g., procurement, processes production, inventory, sales, security).
• Verify records for purchases, receipts of raw materials, and distribution of finished goods.
• Identify control weaknesses and report with recommendations.
• Assist in risk assessments for departments like production, logistics, and sales.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in daily and monthly stock counts and reconciliations.
• Support investigations on anomalies, fraud, or inefficiencies.
• Document processes and maintain audit records.
• Monitor stock of raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts against unauthorized issuance.
• Daily call-over of transactional entries in Tally for accuracy.
• Support staff training on internal control procedures.
• Monitor and review diesel requests, usage, and payment vouchers.
