Internal Auditor at Stransact Chartered Accountants

• Perform and control the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operaons' effecveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable direcves and regulaons.
• Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans.
• Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounng documentaon, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document processes.
• Act as an objecve source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
• Idenfy loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
• Maintain open communicaon with management and the audit commiee.
• Document processes and prepare audit findings memoranda.
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management intervenons.
• Engage in connuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulaons, best pracces, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

Job Responsibilities Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounng, Finance, Economics, Business Administraon, or a related field.
• MBA or a relevant master's degree is an advantage.
• Professional membership in a relevant body or instuon.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC works experience.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) soware implementaon.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounng soware, and databases.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
• Proven knowledge of auding standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulaons.
