Reporting Line – Global Head, Internal Audit & Special Projects

Our client; a global midstream/downstream Oil and Gas company is looking to hire a smart, vibrant energetic Internal Auditor for its Nigeria operations.
 

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out internal audit assignments of various business processes
• Map & identify process level controls, risks and process gaps (design/effectiveness)
• Assess the design and effectiveness of financial, operational & compliance processes for manual and automated controls
• Identify & discuss control issues & improvement opportunities with senior management
• Document the results of audit findings, including internal control weakness and/or improvement opportunities via detailed audit report and executive summaries
• Cost control and identification of revenue leakages
• Ensure business compliance with company’s global SOP and policies

Qualifications, Competencies, Skills, Attitudes

• A good first degree from a reputable institution
• Possession of CISA, CIA or other relevant certification
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Internal Audit in Manufacturing, Oil and Gas Industry or in Audit firms dealing with audits of these verticals. 
• Strong analytical ability to objectively evaluate business relevant dynamic processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
