Job Title: Internal Auditor
Location: Lagos
Salary: ₦200,000

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts and closures from the FMS system to ensure quality control and prevent revenue leakage.
• Investigate suspicious transactions and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as required.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of fraud incidents within the bank.
• Track agreed recommendations and monitor implementation status for all investigated fraud cases.
• Analyze and identify potential money laundering activities.
• Review controls related to the custody of test SIM cards and systems that support mobile money transfers.
• Conduct high-balance reviews to identify irregularities.
• Perform trend analysis on transactions to detect abnormal spikes or unusual patterns.
• Support the team with other fraud-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of relevant experience in auditing, fraud investigation, or related fields.
• HND/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any business-related discipline.
• Professional certification such as ACA or a recognized audit/fraud certification is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and financial systems.
