Internal Auditor at AAVA Brands

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Auditor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, risk management, and internal controls.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes across the organization.
• You will perform audits, identify process improvements, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits and operational reviews across departments to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain audit programs and testing procedures.
• Analyse business processes and procedures for efficiency and compliance, recommending improvements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports that include findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure management has taken corrective action.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting
• Assist in the development of the annual internal audit plan.
• Work closely with external auditors during year-end audits.
• Support management with special investigations and ad-hoc reviews when needed.
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and internal policies to ensure compliance.
