Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to manage and oversee all insurance-related matters for our large manufacturing enterprise.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage for our fleet, workplace compensation, manufacturing equipment, and other business assets.

Key Responsibilities
Insurance Policy Management:

• Develop and implement insurance strategies to mitigate risks.
• Manage and negotiate insurance policies for fleet, workplace compensation, equipment, and other business assets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Risk Assessment and Management:

• Identify and assess potential risks to the organization.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize losses.

Claims Management:

• Handle insurance claims and ensure timely settlement.
• Liaise with insurance providers and other stakeholders.

Fleet Insurance:

• Manage fleet insurance policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle claims and negotiate settlements.

Workplace Compensation:

• Manage workers' compensation insurance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle claims and negotiate settlements.

Equipment and Asset Insurance:

• Manage insurance policies for manufacturing equipment and other business assets.
• Ensure adequate coverage and handle claims.

Insurance Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance laws and regulations.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional insurance certifications (e.g., Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN)) are an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in insurance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven track record of managing complex insurance issues.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
