Instrumentation Technician Support at Resource Intermediaries Limited

Job Summary:

• The primary responsibility is to ensure the proper maintenance and optimal functioning of high-quality equipment. These responsibilities are assigned by the Instrumentation Technician and involve the calibration and maintenance of cigarette equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Calibration:

• Perform daily calibrations of all equipment before use and maintain accurate documentation.
• Immediately report any detected faults or issues with instruments using the appropriate channels.
• Ensure that equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each use.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Collect samples of materials and products from the production processes, following established protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance procedures and checklists for all quality assurance (QA) equipment.
• Provide support to ensure the availability and accessibility of maintenance procedures.
• Compliance with EHS/EMS Requirements:
• Prior to initiating any job, ensure a complete understanding of safety requirements and adhere strictly to the established safety procedures, including environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in a Science-related field with a focus on Electrical Electronics or any relevant engineering discipline.
• Possession of advanced specialty education and training, and/or extensive on-the-job experience may be advantageous.
